Swordquest

Swordquest was a series of games made by Atari. The games were notable for having a tie-in contest where players would need to mail clues gathered during gameplay to Atari in order to take part in a contest for valuable prizes such as a solid gold crown. After the first two contests were held, the video game crash of 1983 and the subsequent demise of Atari brought the series to an abrupt end. The contest for Waterworld was only held in a very restricted fashion and the fourth game, Airworld, was never finished. A reimagination of Airworld was released in 2022.
