And also the acutely empathetic tact to depict the pain of losing by placing the abandoning figure in the shoes of the highest spiritual entity only to heinously cuss and shame It afterwards. I just really love how pain was depicted in this. It will be near impossible for this to be topped by anything else in regards of writing. Only rating the multiplayer here, since I prefer to rate the LE trilogy altogether. A very enjoyable multiplayer with tons of customization and player styles. A dormant, but strong multiplayer fanbase, still finding games after all this time. Too bad it was not remastered as well, but there is no hindrance with playing the original.

Yes, the navigation system might be downgraded from game to game, yes textures look out of place sometimes, yes some characters were fodder, side missions might become a burden, romances are not equally in-depth. It might be unplayable without mods. But the fixes the community brings, along with the effort the Bioware team has put up in the original making of the trilogy. Things culminate towards leaving the heaviest toll on you a video game can ever bring. From start to finish, this trilogy is an expression of hindrances and the ability to overcome them. I consider myself lucky to witness it again

Not played the DLC storylines yet, but I don't feel like they would supplement the current rating any further, since the rating does not pertain to the storyline necessarily, but to the madafckin amazing nemesis system. Very time demanding to get the full flavour of what it has to offer, meaning that it is something you need to play to completion, take a year of break (cause it does get repetitive), then come back to it and enjoy. LE: downgrade from 4.5 to 4 - if you care about your personal wellbeing and to ensure you actually have fun post end-game, just play on xbox, fuck this bugged out PC shit Couldn't be bothered with the DLCs

Played the HD Project version which really makes the game feel like modern titles. The controls are abysmal and it takes a while to get into it,. but I get the shock it generated when it first came out and for this I can make a concession. The atmosphere and levels are quality wise unmatched, I love the gothic iteration the series took after the first three iteratations. Overall one of the best games I have ever played, but I have high hopes that the remake will remediate its flaws without severing its redeeming qualities. P.S: Ada's Separate ways is just fucking insane, I found the difficulty to be a bit higher, which with the abysmal controls equals a hard time.

Much better than RE7, meaning it gave you some fucking time to be immersed, to enjoy things as scenery, slower paced gameplay.. you know, fucking immersion. I read somewhere that this game best iterates the joy of feeling lost and I agree but the caveat appears shortly after I started playing: do I find any joy anymore in exploring aimlessly? The mid-story puzzles and overall journey to the grand finale is one of the most enjoyable things to experience as far as co-op goes.
