Toon Link is a caricaturized design variant of Link [リンク] that first appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords [ゼルダの伝説 4つの剣] and most recognizably in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker [ゼルダの伝説 風のタクト] in 2002. Toon Link is identifiable by his cel-shaded appearance, large black pupils, and exaggerated expressions and has appeared alongside the primary design as a unique character in all-star titles such as the Super Smash Bros. [大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズ] series and Hyrule Warriors [ゼルダ無双].
