really love it! done a complete 180 on Belle and Sebastian in the last couple of weeks - they've gone from a band I was fairly indifferent to outside of a couple of songs to being one of my favourite bands. Push Barman is a real treasure trove of great stuff that I would never have bothered checking out before, especially Lazy Line Painter Jane, which is a strong contender for my favourite song by them. Not a bad song on the compilation, I'd say - even the elvis one is pretty fun!
Suburban Light is their first major release chronologically and is quite a good entry point since it's a collection of singles. But all of their albums sound very similar, so if you like one of them you'll probably like all of them; God Save The Clientele is my favourite studio album of theirs and is the first one I listened to, so you might want to try that too.
