hi spoony, yeah im a big kells fan, up there with Joe as my fav. In my 4-5 years on this site I've never seen an r kelly album so well received either, all be it with only 6 ratings. I've given it some listens and while it is consistently good not a lot blows me away. However tracks like Radio Love, When a Women Loves and so on are pretty nice - nice to see him do something a lil different. I'll probably write a review in a few days. Thinking 3.5/5 or 4/5 at this stage. I'm gonna check out Robots & Dinosaurs now based on your recommendation. Btw if you like Kells yourself check out Epic - the new songs on it are epic.

lol, I actually enjoyed it though, just on my couple of listens not a lot stood out too much. Consistently good though. Gonna give it another listen. It was very close to 3.5.

Exalted surprised me tbh. After listening to Lord of the Fly I wasn't expecting much, but as the review says, I found it to be a pretty good album. I went back and checked out Lord of the Fly afterwards and my feelings on it didn't change. Don't find it as consistently good as Exalted. They are definitely albums though that need more than 1 listen. Good to hear there's another release on the way.

Hi Mate. I never reviewed Daft Punk....Are you talking about the song ratings or something else... I basically mention this is the review, but on Chrisette Michele, while I'm a big fan, I just didn't think a lot of the songs built up like they did on her last few albums, making for less great songs than before. I find one paced R&B boring-one of the reasons I didn't dig Frank Ocean's album. Better is far from trash though. It's definitely closer to 3.5 than 2.5. I'm picky to give most thing 4 stars or more. I've never thought a lot of a Ciara project. Too many lackluster songs normally. I'll start with your 5 star song 'Overdose' and eventually give it a listen.

Hi again. Listening to Ciara as I type. As you say in your review, it isn't really R&B. Definitely not my thing, especially the dance-pop stuff, and there are many others, such as Chrisette, with a better voice in R&B. I've listened to all bar one of her albums and she has never grabbed me. Bodyparty/DUI is good, but that's about it at this stage imo. Ah well, we have similar ratings for Yeezus..

i think I've heard of Chanté Moore. Can't say I've heard much music from her though. Yeah, production is generic for a ballad, but she can sing in that link you posted. Just added the album - Moore Is More. Will try to check it.

gave Chanté a quick listen and review, I like it as much as Chrisette's effort (that one is still growing on me)

I first heard of Chanté when I listened to a CD of hers my sister had laying around sometime in the 1990's. Don't remember the music specifically now, but was impressed at the time. Once I heard she had a new album out, I wanted to give her another listen.
