Knockin on heaven's door isn't really popular among the Germans, is it?

Here in Russia it's a "cult" film, as a teen I thought it was widely known everywhere but RYMers don't seem to know about it, again apart from the Russians and the Germans :) It's a pop film, but I love it so much.
As I said, Russians love it. My mom loves it :)
I have a strong desire to visit Germany again and again after watching it.
