I'm alright.

I tend not to listen to music I don't like enough times in order to rate it, hence the lack of low reviews, but here's what I'm saying with my ratings.

.5 - irredeemable
1 - awful, but there's at least something keeping it from being a .5
1.5 - still pretty dang bad, but there's some aspect of it that is likeable
2 - listenable, pleasant at points, but I'm not sure why you'd want to give it more than a cursory listen
2.5 - eh, there's good stuff, but it's not what I'd call a good album
3 - a good album, definitely worth a listen or two every now and then
3.5 - good, but has a few issues that keep me from enjoying it as much as I'd like
4 - very good. highly recommended, a record I return to on a regular basis
4.5 - almost perfect, but just missing an ineffable something that would boost it to a 5
5- a pretty much perfect album. Also, with 5 star albums, what separates it from a 4.5 or 4 star record generally has more to do with my personal feelings, and the effect the record, has on me than with any critical faculties that may be at work.
