Well, I've added a lot of ratings in these days. I used to be an IMDB user so I converted all those ratings in RYM's stars xD
Back in the day I saw so much crap I can't even realize xD
Oh, the movies which are not in the database must be pretty unknown, aren't they?

I'm instered in these unknown Hungarian art films (of course if they have subtitles xD), I always look for new stuff!
Unfortunately my summer holiday won't be that great because I have to study a lot for some oral tests :/

Yeah, I'd be glad to see some of them, indeed :)
I recommend you an Italian film I saw tonight, "Le conseguenze dell'amore" : aesthetically perfect and brilliantly acted, a rare example (in these days) of good cinema from my country. Italians used to be awesome filmmakers but it seems like we lack some talents nowadays. This film is one of the few wonderful exceptions, hope you'll like it if you come to see it ;)
I study Humane Letters so it's about Italian literature, Roman history, linguistics, Latin literature and stuff like that... Some things are pretty interesting and enlightening, some others not.
Oh I'd like to see them too! It would be a life changing experience, especially for my ears! I would definitely become deaf, haha :)
I've seen few live shows in my life unfortunately. I hope things will change when I'll become more independent!

PS : By the way I began to listen to m b v! It will take some time to understand if I (really) like it or not, but at first listen is at least pleasant!

My classes will begin in October but I have a test on 24th september :(
Too much stuff to remember and my mind just can't handle it. Jazz is always great fun to listen to even if I should broaden my horizons and stop listening only to Miles and Coltrane xD
I can suggest you some poems but I don't know children's books :S
I've heard around that foreign people usually read Italo Calvino but it must be pretty hard for a novice.
My summer was ok. I've been in Venice for the first time in my life :D
For the rest it's been quite boring considering the test I'm studying for...
But I'm curious about your Italian! Maybe we can exchange skype or something :) (dunno if I already asked about it... my memory sucks a lot!)

Oh and you have listened to Naked City?
Headache inducing and life changing experience, isn't it? :D
Funnily enough it was my introduction to jazz. A pretty wicked one, I have to say!

I can understand you, Italian irregular verbs sometimes are pretty tough even for Italians, haha :D
Venice really is a wonderful city and deserves to be seen. Maybe when you'll have the chance to get there you'll recall the reason of your obsession as a child!
As for Calvino, I suggest you to read "Marcovaldo, ovvero le stagioni in città"... It shouldn't be that complicated to understand. Calvino also wrote a collection of Italian fairy tales, "Fiabe italiane".
I have never read it but perhaps it's easy! Fairy tales always use basic language, I think ;)
I'll listen to Machine Gun... If it's schizophrenic as Naked City I'll enjoy it for sure! Too much stuff on my wishlist and not enough time to listen to it as it deserves :/
By the way, I have always thought that the best music to study to was ambient in (almost) all its subgenres (check out Stars of the Lid, heartbreaking if listened to in the right moment/mood, otherwise great if you have to study!) ;)
