I was going to tell you that is the only thing I _most_ wanted you to bring back from Japan.. new stories to tell me :D ..I was half tempted on asking you to stealthily take pictures of kuchiroro displays for me too, but luckily I already saw what the display looked like for their live DVD, so I didn't need to pester you with that request afterall :) ..Speaking of displays, it's a bit of a shame your trip couldn't have been held off for a few more weeks.. then you may have had the chance to witness the promotional blitz surrounding Perfume's newest single and perhaps could have even gone home with an A~chan :D ..Not the actual girl herself, of course, but perhaps a poster version or, even better! A cardboard cut-out XD Maybe next time..!

Anyway, I would love to hear about all the shows you attended, apart from the one you already chronicled at your blog.. I don't think I'm familiar with winnie..?(actually, I do kind of know a band from Japan who call themselves winnie.. they had a song called "starless" on a Guitar Pop compilation I own.. but I'm thinking, um, your winnie and my winnie are two entirely different groups, most likely..) But still, it's cool you got to attend a sold out(!!) show, struck up conversations with other people that attended, grabbed swag from the merchandise table, _and_ managed to get a picture with the band. That sounds like a completely satisfying live experience~

Oh, hey, and the last line of your blog entry is reminding me.. Yeah! ..I'm still a little bitter that they decided to release a B-Side compilation only a short while _after_ I already spent the money to buy all their singles, but.. I continue to console myself by repeating that buying their singles wasn't a complete waste because 1. I get to be a dorky completist by owning them which was my Ultimate Goal in the first place; 2. I have all the inserts and liner notes and front/back cover designs plus the first press goodies that came with the singles that the compilation won't have; 3. _Plus_ the compilation doesn't have any of the remixes or live versions that appeared on some of the singles.. So no Alternate mix of "harukaze", or Rei Harakami's remix of "bara no hana", or any of the terrific "Akai Densha" remixes either, or the excellent live version of "suichuu motor". ..Despite all this, did I still pre-order the limited edition version of "boku no sundeita machi"? Yes I did :D Because I don't want to spend another five years lamenting over a second missed opportunity to actually own "nocchi 5555" as part of at least one release of theirs. Plus "Bacon & Egg" will be a new song to me(still haven't heard this song yet either), so... And it is a good idea for a compilation, I suppose, because Quruli have always been a really strong singles band, and some of their best songs were available only as B-Sides("Sunday Morning", "nocchi 5555", "aojashin", "revolver", "sukebe na onnanoko", "taifuu", "hello goodbye", "chikatetsu", "manatsu no ame", "pray", "kaerimichi", the entirety of the "yukai na peanuts" single..).. I know some of those songs appeared on "Tower of Music Lover", but it'll still be a treat to hear them for those who haven't yet. So even though I'm already familiar with practically everything, it'll be nice to hear them all compiled together on one collection, I think~

And it _would_ be nice if Quruli took a page out of Chatmonchy's book and played shows wehre their setlist was completely made up of the B-Sides that'll be appearing on the upcoming compilation. Perhaps they will...? And maybe, just _maybe_ they'll jump on the current UStream craze and broadcast one of these shows live through that site...! Wouldn't that be something..?!? I really, really hope they do *_* If kuchiroro, Shinji Kuno, and Sugimoto Kiyotaka can do it, Quruli can too...!!
