Hi Grassroot. I went on a Meat Loaf rampage and found out about the female vocalist Karla Devito. I liked your review and looked into our music comparisons. First of alll, any fan of the bangles, is a friend of mine! I'm kind of obsessed with Susanna Hoffs haha.

Second I'm shocked that someone who has listened to The Bangles and lists one of their favorite artists as Mathew Sweet hasn't looked into Suanna's solo career. And I've never looked into Mathew Sweet besides his collaboration with Hoffs in their Underneath the Covers compilations but I definitely will be looking into him at some point though.

Grassroot - I was the #1 Beer Guy from 1977-79 for the Dr Pepper Music Festival in Central Park. I sold ice cold Heinekins for $1.00 on the hill where everybody sat. 20 cases a night! Its hard to remember all the shows but I went thorough the lists and I can remember 2 that were not listed but I do not know the dates. One was Chaka Khan. I was standing next to her when she was behind the stage and the other was Tavares. "Love will keep us together" was hot and I remember it.
