I've come to the conclusion that giving recordings ratings out of whatever, or saying things like "this is their best/is good/doesn't work as well as..." is totally bogus. It's a convention, it's convenient, but at the end of the day lacking in value.

So I'm trying not to do that anymore. It's quite hard...

Here's some music, what does it sound like to me? If it makes a positive/negative impression on me can I explain why I feel that way (not in terms of "because the music IS such and such)?

That's kind of the plan anyway. I haven't cleaned up all my old reviews yet to conform to this new programme.
