I was reffering to where you said I hadn't read any 20th century Russian writers.
I thought Nabokov, but then I guess he doesn't really count since all his novels were written in Germany, America & Switzerland & none of his novels (that I know of) are set in Russia.
On why I thought Polish people wouldn't like Russians, I was mainly referring to the legacy of Communism & how Putin is now using Oil as an economic weapon against Eastern Europe.
Ok maybe not directly. Though your English is very good, native-English speakers tend to imply or hint things a lot more rather than just say them. In English a lot of the time a conversation will sound like it's about nothing when actually a lot is being said.
