I am just one of those "I know nuttin about music, I JUST KNOW WHAT I LIKE" kind of people.

To dis-regard a musical language simply because I dont know how to engage with it is like arrogantly saying "my current manner of perception is the only possible way to perceive".
While of course one does need to be able to tell the difference between what is not liked simply because it may be shallow/vacant and what is not liked because you simply dont know how to read it.
Sensual experiential growth and development of ones own manner of perception is what I live for.
These days I think I would get bored very quickly if I closed my ears to everything other than that which I already knew how to percieve.
