Hello old friend and thanks for the recommendation! I'd never heard of Bill Orcutt, but I just had a listen and it's hot stuff, right up my alley and definitely suited to the Harsh Acoustica list, which I really want to elaborate sometime! I see he was in Harry Pussy and I've listened to them a few times--the aesthetics aren't as surprising from that angle. Check out the amazing Swedish guitarist David Stackenas, especially his duo with Mats Gustafsson!
