I listen to 70's classic/hard rock and 80's heavy, death and thrash metal, and recently also progressive rock. My favorite genre is thrash metal though. Please recommend me good heavy/thrash/death metal albums.
Your welcome. It will be months before I get over Dio's death. Saw Heaven and Hell 3 times in Albuquerque. 3 of the best shows ever. I really wish I could of seen him do his solo stuff live. \m/
Thanx for the comments. Your thrash list will be awesome too after you add some very important ones. Check my thrash list if you want to, and check out the unknown classics! Good luck!
i mean yout top 25. Top 50 would be even better with albums like these: Seasons, Justice, some Machine Head (fist album or Blackening - they are groovy but who cares? They wrote genius riffs), the first S.O.D, Exodus: Tempo & Fabulous, Kreator: all of them after 2001, Artillery: When Death Comes, second Annihilator... Maybe these are the most important ones, that i can recommend you to add, because these are in my top 50. But there are some real gems after the first 50 too (Paradox, Heathen, Razor, Forbidden etc.)
Very interesting that you only buy albums, and don't listen to it on the net, before you do so. I don't say it's a bad thing, this is very honest, but i like to listen to them first in mp3. I love music, so when i have some money i always buy some CD or vinyl, but i have to listen to new stuffs when i don't have cash too :) But Exodus Tempo of the Damned and Kreator's Hordes of Chaos is so good, that you can buy it without a listen i think.
