Thanks for the kind words on my blog, dude. Yeah, I didn't think a lot of Interpol fans would take kindly to my review, but I have to be honest about how I feel. I agree Interpol is going to put out another Bright Lights, but I don't think it's beyond them. They're still talented and perceptive. I'm sure they can put out another album just like that if they wanted to. They're just exploring more, which I do admire. They would be like some other bands who shall remain nameless and just repeat themselves ad nauseum. On the new album, they're still exploring. It wasn't an adventure I cared for, but I'd hate it even more to hear them to simply go back to the sound of their first two albums. That would be kind of like admitting defeat to me.
