Game collection
Feel free to send suggestions for my lists, but keep in mind that I have some fairly arbitrary tastes in album covers and so I'll often use one image and not another for no apparent reason whatsoever.
I'm also extremely slow to come to a decision about my ratings for a large selection of what I listen to. Oftentimes I'll spend over a year listening to something without rating it.
I have a habit of downloading music. I do try to pick up physical copies of my favorites, but my CD collection has to share the money in my wallet (or on its way out of it at least) with camera equipment, video games and books. Concessions must be made in my acquisitions, thus the large difference between my number of ratings and owned albums.
My rating system (or, "why do you keep buying 3½ star albums ?"):
½ Not even music, or entirely unlistenable.
*-*½ Terrible. I can't stand it, whatever it is.
**-**½ There's little of merit on the album, maybe one or two good tracks.
***-***½ Not bad. An even mix of boring and great, or just above average period.
****-****½ Most of my favorites. These stand on their own and there's rarely a song I won't like.
***** These are the albums I can continue listening to for years upon years.
I like to take pictures of urban city-scapes, abandoned places and general urban decay. There's always been something intriguing about these places, a sort of beauty attained through ruin, neglect, and the constant regrowth of nature.
