I liked it, but it has problems: + Beginning & some other parts was like a mix of Resident Evil 4 & Amnesia: The Dark Descent. + Story was engrossing & kept my interest. + Characters are pretty neat. + Upgrade mechanic was satisfying. + The mindfuckery with the Silent Hill-esque Surrealism of environments contorting & transforming, gravity shifting, & dissonant feeling level design kept me constantly thrilled. - Shooting & aiming was abit clunky. - The Action sequences range from decent to frustrating. - An inconsistent balance between Action & Horror that leaves the Action sequences feeling frustrating. I did thoroughly enjoy my time & I may revisit this product in the near future, but I was overall left feeling like this game was muddled around with in development, it lacks a consistent focus on what it wants to be, but on the other hand, I absolutely adored the constant shifting of the environment around you, it constantly provided a psychologically thrilling ride, but some of the action sequences left a lot to be desired, with some downright frustrating horde sections that took me out of the moment.
