Nahhhhh Black Metal still sucks 100 kinds of cock, your tastes just must have changed (for the worse I might add but who am I to judge.) I dunno you always were into the EVILNESS of metal so seems like a natural progression. Personally, I don't see myself ever changing my opinion on the stuff because I basically hate what everybody loves about BM. I am not a religious man but the subject matter to me is crap and BTW fucking boring. Not to mention the vocals and the whole "seriousness" of the stuff just turns me off. You have fun with though if that's what floats your boat.

The riffs are what get me about black metal honestly, the way they sound are just too fucking cool, I suck at describing what riffs sound like but Ev Vind Av Sorg by Darkthrone is the perfect example of what I'm talking about. As far as the subject matter goes, yeah its edgy as shit for the most part I'll give you that but its not something I really pay much attention too, the vocals and riffs are really what get me excited about Black Metal
