Hook me up with those PDFs. I intend reading his stuff in English either way. Got any chances to continue abroad? Going beyond bachelor's in a lot of fields is unreasonably hard and I imagine it's at least as hard in Lithuania. I do bachelor's in biology mixed with brain-related courses, but the prospects are grim for those who wish to stay in the academy with very few spots inside.
Service is fully done, didn't get much out of it but it's well in the past. I want to stay in the academia as well but my understanding of that system is lacking right now since I'm saving projects/networking for next year.
It's a daunting task, trying to imagine how things are like in a place with such a different setting and history. I can only imagine suspicion of Russia is a never ending catalyst of a good chunk of occurrences in the political sphere, but aside from that I don't have much info to go with.
