Drawing
Genre
Drawing games are games that involve the player drawing pictures. Many of these games are just gamified drawing programs, allowing for a more fun or accessible drawing experience. A popular example of this is Mario Paint [マリオペイント] (1992), which includes a simplistic user interface, in addition to a music sequencing feature and fly swatting mini-game. Drawing games can also overlap with the charades genre, with games akin to Pictionary. Games often utilize the controls or other elements of drawing games, while putting them to the context of other game genres, such as Line Rider (2006) or Crayon Physics (2007).
