I remember getting this game for Christmas one year, I used to be really obsessed with Yu-Gi-Oh and owned many of the cards and watched the show and my parents bought this for me. It sort of was a sequel to Forbidden Memories. You essentially travel England and fight different duelists, the game tries to be somewhat interesting by having a grid system where you move across a terrain similar to say Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics. The monsters have 3D models in this which is kind of cool, but for the most part the game is mediocre. Nothing really stands out, it has a bland story, its pretty easy, and there are way better games. Yu-Gi-Oh just never translated well into the videogame universe and the only thing that I enjoyed about this was the art style and music, everything else was kind of bland. Sure I think this was a step up from Forbidden Memories, but it still was quite forgettable.

Maybe I'm just looking at this with rose tinted glasses since this was a favorite of my childhood, but I agree it's underrated. Got some flack from series fans for not being a card game sim, but instead a sort of card-based SRPG. But it's fun and the OST slaps
Ost is way better than it has any right to be, which makes this otherwise half assed game pretty atmospheric and memorable. If more time was spent on the game, with a better utilization if it's unique setting, better AI, and more content this could've been great.
