Can get pretty hectic trying to keep things from getting out of control, but it feels like there's very little you can do to set up the board in your favor in the long run - you're basically always either playing catch-up or momentarily cashing in on an opportunity you just noticed. Plus, if you don't clear the board in one big combo, trying to get those last couple of pieces removed can be a frustrating exercise in patience since you just have to wait for the right tiles to spawn. Still, entertaining enough that I stuck with it for a while.
Also, the SNES version is a straight port with an additional 100 puzzle levels added, making it pretty much the definitive version. The puzzle mode didn't add all that much for me, but hey, there it is.
