West of Loathing: Reckonin' at Gun Manor

Reckonin' at Gun Manor reinforces that this game is an adventure/puzzle game at heart. If you played through West of Loathing by engaging in combat with everyone instead of solving the puzzles to avoid combat, you should save your money and not bother with this expansion. It would likely take you just half an hour to bust through the 13 ghosts of Gun Manor.
If you solve the puzzles, however, there's definite entertainment to be had. The best dialogue comes from interacting with the ghosts, and the solutions to puzzles make sense. Most puzzles require you to be observant of the items in the manor, and remember item locations. For example, I knew exactly what to do with the ghost in the larder right off, but I could not for the life of me figure out what to do with the ghost in the pantry.
To sum: Worth it if you played West of Loathing as an adventure game with occasional combat, but definitely not worth it if you played West of Loathing as a turn-based RPG with occasional puzzles.
