Still a very well-made and enjoyable little wargame, but IMO this loses some of what made the original so good, it's a lot harder and there's way more going on. Does this make this a more realistic and interesting wargame? Perhaps. But what the first one had going for it was that it was probably the most approachable wargame of the past decade that still was interesting and complex and required strong tactical skills. This requires those same skills, but I would still recommend the first one over this. If you get the first one and fall in love, then I strongly recommend this one as well.
