If you've played Secret Habitat, Strangethink's previous interactive procedural gallery, then this will feel like more of the same, though there's a lot more going on overall. Strange shifting blobs of darkness covering the walls, broken televisions littering the floor that play weird coded messages, and maze-like room formations that change with each new world you enter - it's certainly a more interesting, engaging experience overall, with more potential of finding unique things as you delve deeper.

That being said, These Monsters does feel more crowded as a result. I enjoyed Secret Habitat mainly because of how minimal and zen the act of observing paintings and traversing the island was - this game seems to go for a wholly different, more ominous atmosphere, which may turn off those who prefer their walking simulators served chill. You can't really go wrong with Strangethink games on the whole, though - the amount of creativity and weirdness on display makes all of them worth at least a cursory glance inside.
