I gotta wonder what the hell they were thinking making guns unusable both in the air and while crouching. It makes them useless in a good 75% of situations where I want to shoot something. And don't even get me started on that god awful map screen. I do like this game but it's full of weird little design and UX problems that make me think it was the directors' first time doing a project like this.
[2] Facts. The guns feel useless and are just there to be equipped for style. I haven’t had one encounter where I had to actually use a gun like the parry mechanic (disappointed in this game’s parrying mechanic as well very useless) in Bloodborne with rewarding visceral attacks, and the spells do far greater damage as well as looking way cooler in comparison. My hope is that this game gets patched with a DLC because I couldn’t believe I actually finished the map when I was done; it looks so unfinished and is a huge headache for me whenever I look for a place to travel to. I assumed there would be an ability to where we could jump in the bottom of each area similar to the bottomless pit charm in Blasphemous but instead you just die each time. It’s alot of good in this game but there’s quite a few ideals that weren’t executed very well and it shows.
