Title
Terraforming Mars is one of my favorite board games of all time, but this electronic adaptation fails to excite me.

The 3D animated map looks very nice and there are obviously many QOL features compared to the real board game such as keeping track of your symbols or calculating your points automatically.

The main problems however are the interface and the feel of the game. The interface is clearly designed for tablets and is quite awkward to use. Everything is hidden behind submenus and you never have a full overview of your cards and resources.

The developers also made the completely baffling decision to not show your opponent's actions in real time. In Terraforming Mars, each player has two actions per turn. Instead of showing the action when it happens, it shows both actions at once when the turn is done. This is an issue because it really disrupts the flow of the game. It is important to be able to follow along what your opponents are doing, and this makes that much harder for no good reason, and it also introduces unnecessary dead time.

Overall, I would recommend to just get the actual game instead.

    Honestly difficult to rate - the board game is excellent but the adaptation is pretty lackluster, it's unbearably slow and lacking key expansions.
    I don't think i can give less than 3 to a game i spent that much time on, but 98% of that time is solo games with cheat engine speedhack in x10 because that's the only way i can enjoy it (terminal zoomer brain)
