    1.71? I mean it wasn't mindblowing but it was definitely an above average quality NES shooter given its cheap price. I definitely had a good time with it.

    Agreed, definitely better than plenty of other vertical shmups. The star field is particularly nice for an NES background.

    I thought it was cool. Fluid and fast-paced, even though the boss is literally the same on every level.
    It's also quite the fair game. Most shmups will remove all your powerups after you die, and then you're fucked. But this game becomes easier when you're not maxed so you have the chance to get the powerups again. I was actually surpirsed at this design decision, and I wished other space shooters of the time (and even the next decade) would've learned from this.
