Surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. I don't like the Thunder Cross upgrade system nearly as much as the Gradius one, and I enjoyed a couple of the level concepts from Nemesis 2 & 3 more than those in this game, but on a technical level alone this is a huge step up from Konami's last few MSX shooters. It's goddamn gorgeous for an MSX game, and the smooth scrolling and soundtrack are honestly a little hard to believe. Overall just a really charming old-school shooter. I'm probably onna be bumpin this soundtrack for a while.
