The neat thing about this Shogi simulator is that instead of providing an entire Shogi set with all the pieces, this is more of a "Shogi problem solver". The levels are all providing various endgame scenarios where both you and the opponent have a handful of pieces, and you need to determine the best course of action to win the game. A very useful tool for studying the pieces and nuances of Shogi.
