an underrated atari 2600 game. shoot all the enemies surrounding you when their "magic portals" are open whilst avoiding the monster inside the room, all within a forgiving time limit. with 16 rooms to clear it actually is possible to beat this game unlike most 2600 titles, and it offers a fair bit of replay value through game variations (64 of them) that change how fast you and the enemies move, if you can shoot diagonally or not or how long the magic portals remain open. game 01 is a bit too slow for me so i usually play in game 05 for a more challenging experience. overall a cool little game for fans of titles like Berzerk.
(PROTIP: when you run out of lives, flick the color switch to continue playing at the last level you were on)
