Title
An odd little arcade-style game with floaty controls and dodgy hitboxes. It looks and plays well enough, as you beam up rats in one boxy level before moving onto the next boxy level, but is repetitive and feels as though it would've been more at home in the previous generation.

    rat attack was one of the more obscure games that i grew up playing on my ps1. it's not the prettiest game ever, but it's super addictive with tons of character to it. it does feel cheaply made at times; a lot of the songs just loop abruptly and are very simple. each character has their own unique stats, which ultimately adds some much-needed depth to an otherwise very simple gameplay.

    i personally have a lot of love for this game. however, i wouldn't consider it an essential title. for an unknown game, it more than delivers in terms of fun and charm.
