The first three episodes of this were very enjoyable, episode 2 with it's homages to john carpenters the thing being the highlight for me.

The last 2 episodes had their moments, but they had too many sections where it just felt like there was just too many damn enemies being thrown at me.

  Completely agree. Devs seem to have caught on to the (in my experience) common complaint that the game was too easy. I managed fine on permadeath until the episode 4 boss kicked my ass. Game's good though.

  It always felt manageable to me. The weapons are powerful enough that tearing through a room full of enemies is rarely a problem, even on Hard.

fun, but overstays it's welcome. feels like the creative level ideas stop after the arctic levels.
