One of the best beat 'em ups out there.

Terrific from a core mechanics point of view, and has some fantastic bosses. Main complaints are occasional camera problems (having to fight enemies from offscreen or anticipate attacks you can't see), and a tendency towards flooding the screen with mooks during otherwise really tight boss fights. I wish this had gotten sequels, because the modular weapon system is a blast and changing up your moveset midlevel to adapt to a new situation is a fantastic twist on the beat-em-up formula.
