Ugh. This one had potential, particularly considering the silent protagonist of PSII is the one character we have the least insight to, and fleshing him out could have done a lot to enhance the narrative of that game. But not only is the characterization rushed and hard to swallow, we see more of him at the beginning as an insufferable child than after his alleged time-skip development. Then there's the succession of plot twists towards the end which get exhausting and harder to believe with each turn, and which undermine half of the motivation for the game's handful of puzzles (If Dick and Shelley were both in on it from the beginning, what on earth was the point of "breaking her brainwashing" with the doll keepsake?). Probably my least favorite of these little text adventures, and also the shortest.
