Deep in the South Pacific, the uncharted Skull Island is populated by dangerous prehistoric creatures thought to have been extinct, and savage, animalistic natives. Learning of its location, a cast and crew set out to shoot a film on the island, but become stranded and are attacked by the wildlife. Whilst attempting to escape, screenwriter Jack Driscoll and lead actress Anne Darrow are captured by the natives, who offer up Anne as a sacrifice to a giant gorilla known as Kong. Regrouping with the remains of the crew, Jack sets out to rescue Anne from the gorilla's clutches.

Title
This game was more fun than most movie tie in games, and actually feels like effort went into it rather than making a quick buck off the franchise. Part of the game is playing as Jack and plays like a typical FPS where you fight giant bugs and dinosaurs off and the other part you play as Kong which is sort of a 3rd person platformer where you beat up dinosaurs and climb things. Both are solid but some things haven't aged well like the graphics or animations. Plus the level design is very linear, but its still and enjoyable enough game with some cool enemies, and it does bring me back to when I was is in Junior High school.

    When I was putting one of the releases on here. The back of the box said (ACTUAL GAMEPLAY SHOWN) as if people would be shocked by the "graphical greatness" of this game.
