A wonderously cute and simple little game where you fly through a space station and shoot rogue robots. There's a catch where you can't shoot droids of a higher class unless you "possess" them with your influence device, through mind-cracking but pretty straightforward puzzle rounds. Once you win these puzzles, you get to control the robot you just abducted, and use it to shoot all the lower-ranking robots. You start as a rank #001 robot, and you need to get higher ranking robots(max #999) to get better weapons and armour, but higher-ranking robots won't last long while controlled, and things can get heated and deadly quickly when you're surrounded by elite robots.
The simplicity and earnestness in Paradroid is so moving that it makes me feel like a kid again. Special props need to go to the graphical smoothness and the sound design in the game, as well as a pretty handy intro screen that briefs you on the setting, gameplay and controls!
