This game had a lot of cool concepts. But the graphics and gameplay feel super outdated even for 1996 standards. As much I wanted to explore the world, the constant combat encounters and lack of health resulted in a lot of death. Saving, dying, saving, dying.Moving through dungeons inch by inch. It's got an interesting story though and the world itself is really good. The dialogue is fun to play around with too. I miss the days where games had the ability to actually type what you wanted to say to a character. I know it's really just keywords they detect but I feel it adds more freedom and you can word things the way your character would actually say them. You are not restricted to pre-written dialogue options someone else made for you.

This game has a total of 3 different stats. That's it. And yet it succeeds in ways that modern RPG's don't. It has the core concept of role-playing down. Non-linear exploration, and freedom to be the character you want.
