Challenges Gretzky's whilst taking a more realistic approach to hockey. It succeeds in places, such as the camera, which provides a good view and keeps good track of the action. The graphics are unimpressive, though I like the small details thrown in--players can have their hats knocked off and onto the ice, for example. The game controls and plays decently, but passing can be way off, the puck sailing past multiple teammates and into the stick of an opponent. It's no cakewalk, either, very difficult even on Easy; you'll often have the puck stolen in an instant and before you can even think of your next move, and the AI doesn't let up.
