Playing this with like a podcast or liquid DnB in the background is like a drug I can do that for hours

Also why do people complain about this game difficulty? If you have good parts its pretty easy, I only struggled with one race and it was because I didn't realize I was using old ass parts

i've completed this game several time but it only now registered to me how vicious AI is in this game. they are completely nuts, deliberately ramming into you, trying to spin you out or intercepting you during a turn and driving both of you into a wall. almost impossible to drive clean in this game, you will just get ran off the road. i think the main reason nfsu1 has the reputation of "nfs: the rubberband" is because you have to win every race, while here you can skip many of them, but ignoring that, nfsu2 ai is way more bullshit imo.

I still adore this game. HD texture packs + dual shock 4 compatibility make this game feel really crisp

Man, EA was on fire during 2001-2006.

I love how making your car look as ugly as humanly possible is part of the core gameplay loop.
