Gosh, I've spent endless nights doing amateurish polygonal work on 3ds max (car polygonal adaptations from other games) as a kid on this. The game is more or less a clever disguise/remake of its precedessor NFS3 (to the point that assets from the games are quite compatible), I used to joke back then that High Stakes is a "hack" of NFS3.

my favorite part about this game as a kid was that you could take out the game disc and put in a music CD and it would play on the radio lol
