The part where the whole screen goes black so they can do a text dump explaining the lore really sticks out in my mind. Stark contrast to the last game's more vague storytelling.

Definitely hinges on visuals and atmosphere most of all.
gameplay is very straightforward and easy (at least on Normal) - only died once to the final boss's obviously telegraphed instakill move that I sat around like a duck during.
liked it a lot for the former - probably the best game in the franchise.

I enjoyed this game, but it was so easy! I was zooming through it and only realized halfway through I could heal myself with the touch of a button instead of depending on sigils or the save bell.
