Pretty okay for what by all rights could easily have been a lazy backport/demake. I'm a big fan of the River City-ish SD graphics, though everybody being smaller means throws aren't as effective anymore for crowd clearing. The special moves are a nice touch too, even if they don't add quite as much depth as I wish they would. I still prefer the original, but there's plenty of reasons one might want to pick this up for a play now and again.
