Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven

It's a shame that the developers never got to finish the game completely, there's a number of things in the world map that hint towards something more, but it's dummied out. And then there's the lackluster ending that left me annoyed because there wasn't really closure at all.

The worst of the lot has to be the battle system, it looks promising at a glance because it relies on toppling enemies like bowling pins. Unfortunately, the fun factor absolutely depends on this - boss battles soon becomes a war of attrition because there aren't any enemies to topple on the boss for extra damage. It's just a case of chipping off the boss' HP and regulating your units' HP.

This definitely wasn't worth the £20 paid (and it was digital, so I couldn't even trade it back).
