Title
Gemcraft was one of the best Flash tower defense games in the '00s and the debut Steam entry in the franchise remains one of the best titles in the genre even in the '20s. Deep mechanics, purpose-crafted levels, and stats-driven metagame make this the most refined GemCraft experience to date, but a seemingly unending campaign and flat default difficulty curve drag the final product down just a little. Completing some of the early stages can be brutal with limited skills and gems available to you, but by the end once you've figured out how best to use dual/triple gems and farm mana, you'll feel overpowered to almost anything the game throws at you at any difficulty.
