Title
Fighting Force 2 just about entirely abandons its arcade beat-em-up roots and goes the way of the generic third-person action adventure. The b-movie story and voice acting is so hilariously bad that I'm not even sure whether it's intentional. Control is stiff, worse than the first game overall, and gameplay involves mundane room clearing and object breaking through poorly-designed environments. A sad death to the series and another unwelcome nail in the coffin of the beat-em-up genre.

    This is a strange title that harkens strongly to those 90s vibes. Coincidentally plays a lot like a rougher Cyberpunk Tomb Raider. Biases for raw beat' em ups have no business here.
