Enemy Front

Actually pretty decent game. Since WWII setting is a bit overused, Enemy Front presents it more from the perspectiwe of polish resistance fights. Maybe the plot is not very absorbing, but overall it's good. Good thing are also occasional scenes presenting the horror of war: shootings of prisoners, hiding in sewers, pain and suffering of the injured in infirmaries (priest praying on the patient was touching to me). Graphics are fine, it's pleasant to the eye yet of course, not the best. Shooting is cool, quite many weapons to try out (lack of Thompson is however sad). Developers added some well known tweaks like slow-motion after shooting from sniper rifle, secrets and optional objectives. Bullets in the game are objects so it's sometimes challenging. Enemies are morons tho, they try to flank, sometimes succesfully, but overall it's really easy to eliminate them even on the hardest difficulty. Playtime is about 5/6 hours without paying much attention to the levels. I think I've had more fun than playing Call of Duty WWII, but of course, it has no approach to oldschool CODs or MOHs.

graphics are pretty cus cryengine, story was simple but worked because you play as polish resistance so thats kinda cool, level design was kinda poor to medicore, gunplay is pretty standard but the weapons and animations felt good. satisfying impacts. ending was dumb. definitely nowhere near as bad as everyone says it is. but not great of course.
