Absolute spit in the face towards people who enjoyed all the stuff from cs:go. Surf is ruined due to the new physics making it impossible to slide on a ramp without hitting an invisible bump, stopping any momentum you might've built up, and causing you to start over. You will also just randomly disconnect, which goes for other community servers too aside from just surf, and is one of the main reasons they're practically dead. The graphics updates are also completely unnecessary and will cause you to lag and potentially crash unless you lower them in the settings, rendering the point of its existence useless (unless you have a good PC). The game also just doesn't FEEL like a counter-strike game anymore, and I don't understand why you wouldn't release this game separately from cs:go. A lot of the stuff in that game just does not work at all in source 2 and would fix a lot of the problems people have with it instantly.

At the end of the day, I'd be happy if the only thing they fixed was the surf physics because that's all I care about having.

no community servers, workshop, cl_bob, viewmodel_recoil, r_cleardecals, cl_righthand 0, cache and train, 128 tick servers (tho 64 subtick could be better i guess), war games/retake/danger zone i dont really play those but its a shame to launch the game without it. dying behind walls, terrible balance on mm/premier bunch of 1v9 games or stomping players, sluggish movement, cheaters going wild and having to go back to faceit. at least shooting feels good so far.

i hope when 2024 major starts the game is at least a bit better.

CS GO Movement before awp nerf: Felt good, comparative to source & quite fluid

CS2 Movement: I'm operating a Battle Tank. Goes against the true nature of a "Source" like game in its movement.

it ain't da same game. It's a decline in gameplay rather than an improvement.



I played every version of Counter Strike & this is by far the worst. (Also including the various movement nerfs as they so desired to keep from previous CS GO Updates)

I've played this game for more than half of my life.

My old ass knows fluid movement when I see it in an FPS Game.
