This game is all about embracing its Cheesiness and Trash B Movie elements. Once you get through it, you'll be playing a somewhat enjoyable Resident Evil clone. The gameplay is a little clunky, the protagonist, Keith, is a policeman that is actually quite slow with his guns as it takes a while to ready the gun, shoot enemies, change guns and all that. The holy water mechanic is an interesting way to reward players for stunning the enemies instead of killing them. The level design of the Casino is pretty confusing and more than often you will feel lost inside it even though you have a map. The same goes for the outside. The Mansion part of the Casino is a funny reference to Resident Evil by the way. The character design is OK for the most part, Keith is straight up the image of the edgyness of the 90s, The Man in Black is a cool looking character, the monsters are a little weird and uninspiring, the rest is nothing to write home about (there aren't even that many characters in this game). There are a lot of FMVs in this game, they even made one for an elevator going up and down, as if they really couldn't animate the background like we already saw on games that came before it. The writing of the dialogues and the voice acting is laughable, it even gets funny sometimes with Misato being limited to only saying "Keith" most of the time and the weird and amateurish voice filter they used for the Man in Black. The story of the game is somewhat interesting, but also nothing special, which is expected from a game like this. The difficulty isn't too high, as the game offers you plenty of vending machines full of healing items and slot machines to earn money to buy them, the only actually difficult parts of the game are on the very beginning, the boss battle at the end of Disc 1 and the Witches. The soundtrack of the game is almost non existent, the only track that I really liked was the Save Room music.
Overall, it's an okay experience, especially if you're looking for this exact kind of game and know what you're getting into.
